Wry quick to tell us that theyll cut our treatments short. Worst spa experience ever!My friend treated me for my birthday and booked treatments for us at Soulstice Life Day spa, knowing how much Ive enjoyed my time there on previous occasions.Firstly, they rushed us to get our treatments started and one of the therapists was. There are no signs with a cellphone policy - one guest was loudly on her phone in the relaxation area for at least 10 minutes. I completed a consultation form but was asked the same questions before my massage - maybe an opportunity to discuss my routine/skin etc more and then talk about upselling. The bad: The massage room is not well insulated so you could hear the staff downstairs laughing and talking (this was a HUGE turn off for me). I understand the upsell concept but if Im spending the money I spent here I think they should find a more subtle way - NOT at the end of my massage. Massage was good but the pressure inconsistent. Outdoor shower is lovely! The not-so-good: The place needs some maintenance - the outside heated pool had some leaves and dirt at the bottom, tiles falling down in the floatation room, moldy smell in the Rasul chamber and limited food options (only Colcaccios). Food was delicious and its nice to be able to enjoy a drink in any of the pools. Bonnie was super helpful (as were all the staff), and helped to squeeze in an additional booking for the floatation pool. The good: Nice facilities, indoor + outdoor heated pools, great location (right up against a hill), full offering including mani + pedi.
